Senior American Day at the Fairgrounds is a beloved Mississippi State Fair tradition celebrating the more mature patrons of the Fair and the country in which we are so blessed to live. This year’s event will feature vendors from numerous healthcare providers offering health screenings, checking blood pressure, and issuing flu shots. Muffins prepared by Caked with Grace will be provided by The Mississippi Egg Marketing Board.
This year we are excited to be joined for a special performance by Country singer, guitarist and songwriter Ronnie McDowell. Ronnie McDowell, best known for his visual and vocal resemblance to Elvis Presley, also charted a string of Top 10 Hit singles including the chart toppers “Older Women” and “You’re Gonna Ruin My Bad Reputation.”
There will be door prizes, giveaways, snacks and coffee, and so much more! Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson will make a special appearance, and Renowned Rodeo Announcer Andy Stewart will emcee the event. Don’t miss out on this wonderful event!

About the Fairgrounds
The Mississippi Fairgrounds Complex covers over 105 acres and hosts more than 700 events per year.
